Why this, why now

Here we go! Our vision for pragma is simple: build a community of women that lift each other up and learn more about their own bodies and micronutrition care along the way, with the nutrition education rooted in science instead of marketing claims.

Micronutrition has always felt like a north star within nutrition. Don't get me wrong, the macros are important too, but it was always so fascinating to me how these little imbalances in the body could trigger pathways that send whole systems out of whack. Now more than ever we are piecing together the importance, building a body of sound science, and taking on more control for form and quality that comes our way.

But there's also just TONS of noise. Every conversation I have, I feel like our culture is just bombarded with marketing claims, a 'health quiz' that's just a funnel to a product disguised as a quiz, or a wellness influencer selling something outrageous that science doesn't support. Quite frankly, I found myself as an RD getting bombarded with ads so convincing I was asking myself why and how and if it works.

This is about matter-of-fact advice. This is about learning together. This is about walking into medical appointments better equipped. This is not meant to replace your medical and health care, but to give you straightforward and accurate tools in the toolbox.

This is pragma. We're so glad you're here.
